The Chinese manufacturer Huawei has released a new update OTA for its current top of the range, the Huawei P9, which brings the firmware to version B182.

Before going to list what are the improvements brought by Huawei to its top range device, it is good to underline the constant support of the company through the optimization and improvement of the ROM EMUI. The Huawei P9 is moved by EMUI 4.1 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The firmware, weight of 495 MB, therefore rather full-bodied, bring the device to the version EVA-L09C432B182 and includes some news about printing within emails, and features to save slow-motion videos. Obviously in combination with the news there are corrections and various optimizations to improve the user experience.

  • Optimized the device name to be consistent in all scenarios;
  • optimized the instructions received when inserting the earphones;
  • optimized different links in the drop-down menu;
  • optimized different application icons on the home screen;
  • improved contrast on the user interface screen;
  • optimized the input swipe method in the Huawei keyboard.

As always, the manufacturer recommends to carry out the update by checking the availability of space in the storage memory and with a percentage of 50% battery, in order to guarantee the necessary autonomy to complete the entire operation.
