YU, a subsidiary of Micromax, is one of the most interesting Indian companies so far. This smartphone maker recently released some very interesting devices such as the Yureka Note, phablet introduced about two weeks ago equipped with a display from 6 inches.
That said, now the company seems to be working on a new device equipped with better technical specifications than the Yureka Note. Thanks to GeekBench, we can have the first technical characteristics regarding the YU YU5530.
YU works on the YU YU5530 Helio P10
According to the leaked profile, the smartphone will be equipped by the octa-core processor MediaTek Helio P10 (aka MT6755) composed of one Octa-core CPU to 64 bit. Mainly, it's a very popular mid-range chipset right now, especially when it comes to Asian smartphones.
The device also features 4 GB of RAM and turn with Android Lollipop 5.1 pre-installed, although it is probably the Cyanogen OS 12.1.
It should be noted that YU may opt to ship this new device with Android 6.0 Marshmallow and Cyanogen OS 13 instead of Lollipop and Cyanogen OS 12.1, but naturally we await official information.
In any case, the YU5530 obtained 816 points in the single-core test e 3050 points in the multi-core point on GeekBench.
