Meizu M3 Note - Design and ergonomics

Il Meizu M3 Notes is a "twin" with regard to the design of the Meizu PRO 5, the current top of the range of the Chinese company.

The feeling, in fact, is to handle the flagship of Meizu considered the metal body, similar dimensions and the front glass with 2.5D curvature. The touch & feel, therefore, returns impressions similar to the PRO 5, very interesting aspect that contrasts with the little "inventiveness" of designers in putting a design already seen on multiple devices.

The dimensions are of 153.6 x 75.5 x 8.3 mm for a weight of 166 grams, battery by 4100 mAh included.

Let's briefly analyze the arrangement of keys and inputs:

On the right profile we find the on / off button and the volume rocker both made of metal.

On the left side there is the double SIM slot in Nano format shared with the Slot to expand the internal memory up to 128 GB via micro SD.

On the back we find the main camera from 13 mega-pixels with Dual Dual LED Flash and logo Meizu.

At the bottom, instead, we find the 2.0 Micro USB connector, the main microphone and the system speaker.

Frontally the device presents a display from 5.5 inches diagonal with resolution Full HD 1920 1080 pixels x. At the top we find the headset capsule, a notification LED, the 5 mega-pixel front camera and the brightness and proximity sensors.

Top, finally, the jack from 3.5 mm for headphones and the second microphone for environmental noise suppression.

At the bottom, finally, we find the key mBack with technology mTouch 2.1 which integrates a fingerprint reader with detection in 0.2 seconds.

Meizu M3 Note - First impressions of use

We used in the poco time available, before returning to Italy, the device noting how the Flyme 5.0, based again on Android Lollipop 5.1, turn very well exploiting the processor properly octa-core Mediatek Helio P10 with clock a 1.8 GHz and 2 GB of RAM (in our sample accompanied by 16 GB of internal memory).

The score totaled on Antutu Benchmark it's about 43.000 points (we have not been able to verify it through the software), this value is purely indicative as the device is a pre-production sample which obviously can present a incomplete software and possible minor differences with the final variant that will be marketed.

A complete analysis and comparison with the. Will follow in our review of the device Meizu M2 Notes to highlight the strengths and possible flaws of this new device.
