Yesterday we announced the arrival of 3 new chipsets targati MediaTek, or MT6737, MT6738 e MT6750, or the new alternatives for 2016 for the band entry-level of the market, thus replacing the previous ones MT6732 e MT6735.
Today we will talk about the technical specifications of the aforementioned SoC, summarized in the table that you can find below.
Starting from 'MT6738, we have a chipset with Quad-core CPU with architecture a 64 bit on an ARM basis Cortex-A53 and maximum clock frequency of 1.5 GHz; the graphic part is entrusted to the ARM GPU Mali-T860 MP1 from 700 MHz and support a internal memories of type eMMC 5.1 and modules RAM of type emCP LPDDR3 from 666 MHz up to 4 GB, while as regards the display it will be possible to use panels with resolution HD 1280 x 720 pixels to 60 fps.
Speaking instead of the multimedia sector, photographic sensors are supported up to 13 mega-pixel, with the possibility of recording videos with maximum resolution a 1080p to 30 fps.
The connectivity department, with modem LTE Cat. 6 2 × 20, is capable of reaching speeds up to 300 Mbps in download e 50 Mbps in upload.
Moving toMT6750, there is a chipset with Octa-core CPU with architecture a 64 bit, formed by 2 cluster side by side, or a quad-core Cortex-A53 from 1.5 GHz it's a quad-core Cortex-A53 from 1.0 GHz; unchanged the rest of the features, except for the GPU, which is always the same model but in 350 MHz configuration MP2, ie dual-core, and for supported photo sensors, here up to 16 mega-pixel.
The variant will also be introduced MT6750T, identical to the previous one, if not for the GPU, which should have one lower clock frequency.
The MediaTek MT6737 it is not present in the table, but it will certainly have lower specifications than MT6738, especially on the connectivity side, given the presence of a modem LTE of the Cat.4 type belonging to the previous generation.
