We know, in fact, that hardware and design of the Chinese version of the device do not differ from the international one of OnePlus X. The only difference is represented by the installed operating system, which in the Chinese version is, in fact, the ROM Hydrogen OS.

It is good to remember, in fact, that Hydrogen OS it is available exclusively in English (and obviously also in Chinese) and that will also lack support for the management and installation of services Google, a must-have for an international Android user.

  • Download the OnePlusOxygen_14 update from this link;
  • connect the device to the PC using a USB cable;
  • do not decompress the ROM and copy the package to the internal memory;
  • turn off the OnePlus X;
  • press Volume Down and the power button at the same time. In this way you will access the OnePlus X recovery mode;
  • choose "English"> "Delete data and cache"> "Install from local"> switch to Oxygen OS ROM;
  • select "OK" and wait for the update process to finish.

Once installed, the OnePlus X it should restart and run the new operating system installation Oxygen OS. The first restart could be longer than usual.
