As you will remember, on the last day of the 2014 we talked about it release of kernel source code for Xiaomi Redmi 1S.
With such news it is not surprising to see the release of a new AOSP ROM just for this device, with the promise, from the developer, of a maximum optimization with very low consumption.
The name of this custom ROM, Lace Up, comes directly from the title of the homonymous album by MGK, an American rapper (an album that, I highly recommend, is a great record!), And translated literally means " fasten your shoes ”.
As anticipated in the opening, the developer of this ROM has worked a lot, thanks also to the release of the kernel source code, to reduce consumption to a minimum and ensure an optimal battery life. From the screen you see posted above I would say that, based on use, it would seem to have succeeded, given the more than 5 hours of display on.
Further screenings follow.
The ROM in question is on a base CyanogenMod 11, Then Android KitKat 4.4.4 and a native AOSP interface like Google has designed it.
You will therefore find all the optimizations and customizations possible with the ROM of the Cyanogen team, with the addition of the GAPPS (already included and not having to flash later), the Walkman music player typical of Xperia smartphones and the Dolby Engine, a useful application for manage and increase the audio through optimization and gain software.
Present also the MIUI camera, with all the simplicity that distinguishes it.
Below is the general screen of the interface.
According to the developer, there are some minor bugs related to some Xposed modules not working with this ROM, but no problems are reported to the main features of the smartphone.
