The 2015 started only two days ago and Huawei, one of China's leading mobile companies, announced sales and earnings data for the 2014 fiscal year.

In fact, according to what, in fact, reported by Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei Consumer Group, the Chinese company closed 2014 with sharp growth.

According to Yu, Huawei would have a gain of 33%, compared to 2013, equivalent to 11.8 billion dollars from the smartphone sector alone.

Compared to the previous year, the company sent 75 million units, a value of about 40% higher; despite this, Huawei did not reach the target of 80 millions of units shipped that had set itself for the 2014.

Despite these big numbers, Huawei has to be careful of the strong competition that Xiaomi has started for the last four years, also very strong in the 2014 just ended.

We'll see what happens in China in the coming months. One thing is certain: the competition is becoming increasingly fierce and none of the Chinese producers will have an easy life in the "battle" for sales.
