Elephone P5000 from 5350 mAh, here are the complete specifications!

Elephone P5000

Last month we had anticipated that Elephone P5000 would have been a device with a particularly large battery. That time the specification list was incomplete, but today we can finally give you all the details of this smartphone-power bank!

Let's start with the size of the battery which, from the 5650 mAh indicated above, is reduced to an incredible value of 5350 mAh. This enormous capacity will guarantee the terminal a record-breaking autonomy, exceeding four days of use, and will allow, if necessary, to recharge other devices via the USB OTG port.

At this point you might think that the time needed to recharge this Elephone P5000 should be particularly long, but the Chinese company left nothing to chance. The device, in fact, is equipped with a fast charge system thanks to which, using a charger from 5V 2A, it will be possible (according to the company website) to reach a charge of 70% in just half an hour.

Definitely surprising the dimensions of the terminal, which are particularly contained compared to our expectations. The thickness, in fact, stops at just 9.3 mm, poco more than the 9 mm of Meizu MX4 Pro, which however can count on a battery of only 3350 mAh and does not have dual sim support and MicroSD slot.

Among the other features stands out the presence of a biometric sensor for scanning fingerprints which, integrated in the home button, resembles what has already been seen in the Meizu flagship phone.

Do not miss a good photographic compartment, strong of a rear sensor 16 megapixel and a front 8 Megapixel. The MT6592 SoC octacore from 1.7 GHz, the 2GB of RAM and the 16GB of ROM, finally, make this smartphone an excellent example of the mid-market.

As you can see from the table the only weak point of this device, in addition to the use of a non-up-to-date SoC, is the lack of LTE support. Despite this, given the incredible peculiarities, Elephone P5000 confirms an interesting device, a small gem in the list of Chinese society.

Unfortunately we do not yet know the price and the date of marketing of this terminal. If we are confident enough about the former, thanks to the aggressive pricing policy followed by the company so far, we strongly fear that this device will hit the market when the competition, between 64-bit and LTE, will be distant.

What do you think of this terminal? How much would you be willing to spend on Elephone P5000?
