Huawei presented the Alcatel One Touch Hero 2014 at the IFA 2 in Berlin, a phablet with a good 6 inch display.
In addition to a diagonal of 6 inches, the TFTe OGS display of this device offers Full HD resolution 1920 x 1080 pixels, Dragontrail protection and oleophobic coating.
The dimensions of the smartphone are 160.5 x 81.6 x 7.9 mm, similar to those of the previous model but with a reduced thickness, while the weight is 175 grams.
The 2 One Touch Hero offers the MT6592 MediaTek octa-core processor operating at 2.0GHz, accompanied by 2GB of DDR3 RAM, Mali-450 GPU and 16GB of expandable EMMC internal memory. The operating system is obviously Android, in the 4.4.2 KitKat version. The photographic sector of the Hero 2 is entrusted to a rear camera by 13 mega-pixel with optical image stabilization and a front camera by 5 mega-pixel, while the battery has a capacity of 3100mAh.
The smartphone also offers LTE Cat.4 connectivity, probably via MediaTek's LTE modem, as well as WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS.
Among the peculiarities of this device we find the integrated pen, inserted in a compartment in the lower part of the smartphone, which allows you to take advantage of intelligent software functions, thanks also to the large 6-inch display, and some special accessories. Among these we find a sort of external “handset”, which allows you to make phone calls, send SMS and change the music being played, helping the user to manage the large size of the Hero 2.
Another noteworthy accessory is a dedicated DJ case, which offers specific functions when open.
Alcatel presented a rather interesting product, accompanied by equally interesting accessories, which also offers a pair of JBL in-ear headphones included in the sales package. Price and availability have not yet been announced.[With]
