The new octa-core chip MediaTek MT6595, according to some Taiwanese media, could be made official today. The latest rumors speak of three different models, with different CPU clock for each.
The MT6595 SoC is based on the big.LITTLE architecture, with 4 Cortex A17 cores for high performance and 4 Cortex A7 cores for energy saving, and offers 4G LTE connectivity, support for QHD displays, the ability to record video in Ultra HD and the implementation of multiprocessing technology MediaTek CorePilot.
As you can see from the image above, the first version of the chip, theMT6595M, will operate at the frequency of 2GHz, theMT6595 will operate at 2.1GHz, while a more powerful version, theMT6595 Turbo, will work between 2.4 and 2.5GHz!
Confirmations of all this information will come soon. Between high QHD and clock displays, there's a chance that MediaTek will change the cards on the table once again.[Source]
