JiaYu has shed light on some details of the international version of the G2F that were not clear.
Since JiaYu has officially announced the international version of its smartphone low cost (80 $ in China, just 58 euro) JiaYu G2F, there was a bit of confusion about the technical specifications of the device, which seemed different from the model for China. Now the company has made clarity, and below you will find all the details on this interesting smartphone.
JiaYu contacted us to confirm that the display of the international version (WCDMA) of the G2F, will be different from the Chinese version display (TD-SCDMA). The dimensions of the panel remain unchanged, that is 4.3 inches, but the resolution and type of panel have changed. JiaYu has indeed declared that the international G2F will have the resolution of 854 x 480 pixels, but justifying the decline in resolution with the use of an OGS panel. The company is confident that a display OGS (which is thinner and increases the viewing angles) will overall be better than the display with 1280 x 720 resolution of the model intended for the Chinese market.
The rest of the technical specifications of the JiaYu G2F remain unchanged, except for network support WCDMA 850 / 2100mHz. In fact, we find Corning Gorilla Glass 2, front camera from 2 mega-pixel, rear camera from 8 mega-pixels, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory and the MediaTek MT6582 processor quad-core from 1.3 Ghz.
When the device will be commercialized we will inform you with further details.
