The first thing to do is download and install from the Play Store Mobileuncle MTK tools and disable the GPS. At this point we can start with the guide!
How to perform GPS FIX on Chinese Mediatek phones
Open the previously installed Mobileuncle MTK tools application and select "Engineer Mode":
Then select "Engineer Mode (MTK)":
Once you have entered the Engineer mode for MTK devices, scroll to the "Location" tab and select "Location Based Services":
Position yourself in the TAB "EPO ", Flagged" Enable EPO "and" Auto Download "and then" EPO IDLE ":
"EPO IDLE" will change to "EPO DOWNLOAD", so you will need to wait a few minutes to download the data, I suggest you use it with a Wifi connection.
Once the EPO Data have been downloaded correctly, we exit the "Location Based Service" menu to access the "YGPS":
In the YGPS menu you will need to position yourself in the "INFORMATION" TAB and press successively "Hot", "Full" and "AGPS restart":
At this point, return to the “Location Based Service” menu, go to the “GPS” tab and click on GPS (OFF), in this way you will activate the GPS. Switch to the VIEW TAB and wait for the satellites to FIX (when the fix is performed they will change from red to green).
