On the Chinese mobile scene a new competitor is introduced, its name is Yepen and it is ready to launch a phablet for the low-cost segment.
The device is equipped with standard specifications for the price range in which it should be positioned (under 120 €): Mediatek MT6582 processor from 1,3 Ghz (the same as JiaYu G2F), 1GB of RAM, 4Gb of internal memory, 8 mega-pixel rear camera and 2 front, 2100 mAh battery and a display, of unknown resolution, IPS from 5.5 inches.
Like some other devices in China today, it will perform the new Aliyun Os.
However, this Yepen, unfortunately for us, will only have TD-SCDMA connectivity.
The price should be around 880 yuan (about 110 €).
