TOP 8 Chinese Android phones for 2013 Christmas

TOP 8 Chinese phones for 2013 Christmas

With so many Chinese Android phones to choose from it could be very easy to "get lost"! For this reason we have decided to draw up the list of the TOP 8 Chinese Android phones for Christmas 2013 for all budgets, tastes and uses! From 8-core to low-cost quad-core, not forgetting those powered by Snapdragon 800!

Zopo ZP998

From a design point of view there is nothing special about the appearance of the new TOP GAMMA Zopo ZP998, which basically presents itself as a larger version of the previous Zopo ZP980 / C2. But beneath that "already seen" body some beautiful features are hidden.

Zopo Zp998

The dimensions are 151,4 x 76,1 x 9,1 mm and the material it is made of is plastic, but the ZP998 at first contact seems to be better than any other Zopo phone made to date! The front of the phone shows a display from 5.5 inches, 1920 x 1080 with a front camera from 5 mega -pixel and in the back a 14 megapixel sensor with F2.0 opening!

The back of the phone is removable to give access to the 2400mAh battery, the two SIM slots (WCDMA and TD-SCDAM) and expansion slot for SD cards up to 64GB. Hidden inside the body of the Zopo ZP998 is the 8Ghz MT6592 1.7-core processor, as well as 2GB of RAM, Yamaha audio chip, OTG modules, NFC, wifi mirroring, GPS, etc!
Zopo Zp998
As for the ZP998 ROM Zopo did a great job adding beautifying options for the camera app and the functionality for the commands gesture.

International prices is currently set at a special introductory price of only 329,99 dollars.

Green Orange Nx

Launched almost simultaneously with the Zopo ZP998, the Green Orange NX has a slightly more modern design than its predecessors with some tweaks and an 8-core processor.

Green Orange 8-core
The measures of Green Orange are 153,7 x 76,8 x 8,25 millimeters with new features such as NFC support and others confirmed as the OTG and MHL. Under the cover we find 32GB of memory, GPS, WIFI, dual -sim support and of course a MT6592 8-core processor from 1.7Ghz with 2GB of RAM!

Green Orange NX
The specifications also include a 5-inch display with 1920 x 1080 resolution, 5 mega-pixel front camera and 13 mega-pixel rear Sony sensor with F2.0 aperture and, finally, 2900mAh battery!

The price for the Green Orange NX 8-core should be around $ 442 (about 325 euro).

TCL Idol X +

The TCL Idol X +, which will also be on sale in Europe as the Alcatel One Touch Idol X +, will be launched in China before the end of the year. Although the phone has not yet been officially presented, a series of leaks and spy photos have emerged to give us a partial idea on the phone.

TCL IDOL X +

Like the current quad-core Idol X, the 8-core idol X will also feature a unibody design (hence a non-removable battery) dual-SIM support and possible microSD card expansion slot. The screen size has not yet been confirmed, with rumors that talking about panels from 5.5 to 6 inches, but certainly with FULLHD 1920 x 1080 resolution.

TCL IDOL X +
The Idol X + will probably be offered in two versions of 16GB or 32GB of memory, 2GB of RAM, the MediaTek MT6592 chipset from 1.7Ghz and a rear camera of at least 13 mega -pixel.

Pomp C6

In the near past, 2013 has produced many low-cost smartphones destined for export to international markets, but it seems to want to do things big with its latest quad-core Pomp C6!

pomp c6

In terms of design the Pomp C6 is a sort of cross between Zopo and Green Orange. The Pump C6 measures with only 7,7 millimeters thick make it one of the slimmest phones on the list and, as well as the Green Orange NX, with a truly amazing battery for such a reduced thickness: well 3000mAh!

As with all the flagship phones on the list, the Pomp C6 is equipped with 2GB of RAM, up to 32GB of internal memory, dual-SIM support (WCDMA and GSM), NFC support, MHL, OTG, WIFI. The display is a 5,5 inch 1920 x 1080 panel produced by South Korean LG!

pomp c6

Unlike the 3 phones listed above, however, the Pomp C6 is a quad-core phone with a 6589Ghz MT1.5T processor and, therefore, not 8-core. This might seem like an odd decision for a flagship phone coming out in late 2013, but it's actually a pretty smart move. The MT6589T is a now stable chipset, with greater ease of procurement and obviously lower price.

JiaYu G2F

For those looking for a best value for money phone, the JiaYu G2F is the best choice among the quad-core. Also compared to the Xiaomi Hongmi the price of the G2F is lower and the design more sought after.

JiaYu G2F

The G2F is powered by the latest MT6582 quad-core chipset from 1.3GHz. Definitely less fast than MT6589T, however, the MT6582 still has good performance and affects much less battery life.

The JiaYu then proposed a telephone that offers a good compromise between quality and price. The overall size is 125 x 62 x 9,9 millimeters which means that it has a small display from 4,3 inches but with a resolution of well 1280 x 720.

jiayu g2f

Complementing the vo processor is 1GB of RAM, 4GB of memory, expansion slot for microSD cards, dual-SIM (TD - SCDMA and GSM WCDMA coming soon), OTG, rear camera from 8 mega -pixel, 2000mAh battery and a choice of colors for the rear panel including red, yellow, blue, green and black.

The JiaYu G2F will only cost 499 Yuan in China (around 60 euros), but most likely will be sold at a higher price for international customers.

UMi Cross

If the phones we talked about so far seem small then the UMI Cross, with its 6.45 inches, could be the smartphone (or phablet) that suits you. The model sold by the end of the year will be updated compared to the one for which we have proposed a review with NFC support.

UMI Cross

With its 8,9 mm thick the UMi Cross is actually quite slim considering the size of the FULLHD 1080 display. The large size not only allow an excellent view of multimedia content and a pleasant web browsing, but also allow you to have more space for the battery, which is indeed well 4180mAh.

Other features include a quad-core MT6589T processor from 1.5Ghz, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of memory, dual-SIM, micro SD slot, Yamaha audio, 8 megapixel front camera and 13 megapixel rear with Sony Exmor RS sensor.

UMI Cross

Cross is already on sale at some retailers, but if it's of interest to you, wait for the version with NFC support.

Xiaomi Mi3 Snapdragon 800

The long long wait is finally over and the 19 December Xiaomi Mi3 WCDMA version will finally be on sale all over China. The probability of getting a Xiaomi Mi3 with 800 Snapdragon processor before Christmas is very limited, but if you are willing to pay a very high price this may be possible.

Xiaomi mi3

The Mi3 WCDMA model will support 3G networks in most European countries being equipped with a 800Ghz Snapdragon 2.5 chipset. Additionally, the Mi3 will come with 2GB of RAM and a choice of 16GB to 64GB internal storage. Other features include an all new “unibody” body, large 3100mAh battery, 5-inch FULLHD display and NFC.

O

The international version Oppo N1 will be available from 10 December. The phone has a 5.9-inch 1920 x 1080 resolution display, but it looks larger than its size due to the innovative 13 mega-pixel rotating camera with dual LED flash.

O

The back of the Oppo N1 features a touch panel that facilitates one-handed operation and there is also NFC support. The back shell is not removable.

Powered by a Snapdrgaon 600 CPU and 2GB of RAM, the N1 offers enough power for most uses and even if it is designed as a device centered very much on the cameras what most rewards Oppo is its focus on the Open Source. In fact, there will also be a limited edition of the phone in the CyanogenMod version of the phone!

O

Other interesting features include the Oclick remote control with which you can easily control the swivel camera or which can act as a “beeper” to easily locate the phone and Oppo's colorOS ROM.
