After launching the fantastic, "centric camera" Gionee Elif E7 last week, Gionee today officially put on sale in China (quietly, almost silently) their entry-level Gionee Elife E6 Mini.
These last 12 months have seen a radical change of the Gionee company. The company has always been known as a manufacturer of quality phones, but what it lacked was style and innovation. The new models, on the other hand, represent from this point of view, at the same time, a turning point and a break with the past!
The measures of the Elife E6 Mini are just 130,5 x 64,4 x 8,9 millimeters with a frame of just 2,2 millimeters surrounding the screen making the phone from 4,5 inches very comfortable and easy to use. The use with one hand, moreover, will be even more facilitated by just 8,9 mm thickness and the battery guaranteed by well 3000mAh!
The Gionee Elife E6 Mini also features a Yamaha amplifier with DTS audio support, a 6589GHz MT1.5T quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a fully layered 720p display and an 8 mega-pixel rear camera. Like the E7 the operating system is Android 4.2 with Gionee's Amigo OS ROM customization.
The price is only 229 dollars in China (about 168 euros), but unfortunately the current version only supports China Mobile's TD-SCDMA network and therefore not our 3G networks.
Saving G grow we are starting to see the brand as a serious rival for Oppo and premium phone makers Vivo!
