Given the saturation and the substantial stagnation of the smartphone and tablet markets, some Chinese companies have decided to launch themselves on the emerging smartwatch market.
Companies like Geak and SmartQ have already created their respective models, but now also the well-known mobile device manufacturer Hi-Wave has decided to launch itself on this new market, with its Hi-Watch a. Just like the competition, HI-Watch a also allows connection to the phone to answer calls, messages, image sharing and the camera.
This smartwatch will also be equipped with GPS connectivity, WIFI and can connect to sports accessories to monitor exercise and night rest.
Hi-Wave has officially put the smartwatch in the catalog on its Internet page. The price should be around 1500 yuan (about 182 €).
