Yesterday in India, XOLO has finally unveiled its long awaited 7.0 Play Tab. The wait was increased when the news leaked that the Indian company was working on a new device with Nvidia chips.
The new 7.0 Play Tab features an 7 inch display with 1200 × 800 resolution and is powered by an Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core chipset from 1,2 Ghz and 1GB of RAM. The specifications also include: 8GB internal memory, expandable with microSD card, 4000 mAh battery, 2 mega-pixel front camera but no rear sensor. Play Tab 7.0 has no 3G support and will run a customized version of Android 4.1 JB.
The XOLO 7.0 XOLO Play Tab can be purchased at online retailers, such as Flipkart, at the price of 12999 Rupees (about 157 €).
It will be interesting to see if XOLO with this new device will be able to acquire part of the market share held today by the Google Nexus 7, sold for a few tens of euros less.
