Japan Display unveils two new 5.4 and 6.2 inch displays, with 2560 × 1440 resolution

Before long, devices with Full-HD displays will be just a memory, many companies seem to be already working on higher resolution displays; Japan Display Inc is one of these and just in these days has unveiled screens with a resolution of 2560 × 1440!

The company has developed two Quad-HD panels of 5.4 and 6.2 inches respectively, both with 2560 × 1440 resolution.
The lesser of the two, the one from 5.4, has a frame with thickness of 1 only mm, dimensions of 69,59 x 126,67 x 1,12 millimeters and a ppi of 543.9; the other, from 6.2, always has frames with thickness from 1mm but dimensions, obviously, slightly larger than 80,18 x 146,7 x 1,65 millimeters and one ppi of 473.7.

While we already know that Vivo is working on a 2K 2560 × 1440 resolution display, to date we do not know which and how many other companies will adopt these new panels. It would be interesting to find out!
