Blu Products announces a new 5.5 "phablet with MT6589 chip at a price of 179 $ (131 €)!

Blu Products, an American manufacturer of smartphones, today announced Studio 5.5, phablet by 5 inches powered by the popular quad-core Mediatek MT6589 chip.

The resolution of the display will not be of the latest generation, the panel will in fact be a FWVGA 854 × 480 with a fairly low pixel density. It will be powered by a 6589Ghz quad-core Mediatek MT1,2 processor supported by 1GB of RAM. The specifications include a 5 mega-pixel camera with LED flash, VGA front camera, 4GB of internal memory expandable to 32 with microSD and battery will be 2250 mAh.

Studio 5.5 will arrive at 179 $ (about 131 €) in 5 different colors: Slate Gray, Blue, Neon Yellow, Fashion Fuchsia and White Ceramics; and will be available throughout Latin America. The selling price of GPad G3 is 9699 rupees, about 116 €.
