FAEA F2 unboxing photo

FAEA F2

The newcomer FAEA has caught a lot of attention on the Chinese telephony scene this year. Looking at phones like the FAEA F1 Penguin and FAEA F2 it's easy to see why. Let's look at some unboxing photos and first impressions of the FAEA F2!

This week a full review of the FAEA F2 will be published, but for now we are enjoying these unboxing photos!

Chinese phones have evolved very quickly, especially in the last year. A few years ago Chinese mobile phones were poor quality devices, especially clones, as in the case of copies of the iPhone and Samsung, but now it seems that the Chinese manufacturers have found their own identity!

For a couple of years now Chinese phones have achieved excellent performance, keeping their prices affordable, but now we see that their design has also improved significantly! Most Chinese manufacturers, however, although not admittedly, are "Samsung Follower" and in fact the lines of the phones produced often recall the "Galaxy" lines. With FAEA F2, finally, you can see something different!

The FAEA F2 is not very original in the lines, as it recalls, in some ways the HTC One and for others the design of the Meizu, mainly because of the capacitive touch button.

However, the F2 is a beautiful phone, especially this black version! The FAEA F2 is probably one of the best Mediatek processor phones of 2013!

FAEA F2 Unboxing

The FAEA F2 packaging is simple and elegant. A black and red box would also have been very nice, but don't blame FAEA for that!

By lifting the cover you can see the phone protected by a protective film and an instruction booklet.

In the box we find the USB data cable, charger and NFC tag. Earphones are not included.

The back of the FAEA F2 is also protected by a protective film.

It is always a good feeling to remove the protective film of a cell phone, but it is even more so when you do it with a nice phone like this!

The front of the FAEA F2 features a 5-inch FULLHD 1920 x 1080 IPS and OGS Sharp display with a pixel density of 441ppi. Just above the display we find the 5 mega-pixel front camera.

There are no surprises from this point of view, even the 3,5 mm jack for the earphones is at the top.

The volume and power keys are on the right and left sides of the phone and are red.

On the bottom we have a micro USB compartment for charging and data transfer. The “arch” design of the FAEA F2 also allows a comfortable and safer grip of the telephone.

A large external rear speaker and 13 mega-pixel camera with dual LEDs are the only details on the back of the phone, along with the white FAEA logo printed at the bottom.

The back is removable and inside you can see the two SIM trays, the microSD card compartment, and an integrated NFC chip.

An 2300mAh battery provides enough energy for a day of phone calls, web browsing, photos and a bit of gameplay, but if you're a hardcore gamer, you're better off getting a second battery.

At the start of the phone we see the FAEA logo and then the classic Android unlock screen.

The FAEA F2 running has a rom very similar to what we have seen on the ZOPO terminals.

FAEA F2: first impressions

The phone screen is large and very sharp and the photos taken with the rear camera are excellent. Our only complaint is the flexibility of the phone! It is no worse than a Zopo phone but in the case of the FAEA F2 flexing the phone can cause a breakage
We will post the full review of the FAEA F2 with the video before the end of the week.

Thanks to FAEAmobile for sending us the FAEA F2 for the review, in hopes of seeing soon also the FAEA MOBILE ITALIA, which we talked about here.
