After leaving space to the news related to new large phablets (6.5 inches), today we talk about the new, "small" phablet that Gionee will launch shortly: the Gionee X817!
From the first images / renderings of the newly created Gionee home, it is possible to glimpse a possible metal body, with a minimalist design and very slim shapes. In fact, the dimensions should be 163.5 * 81 * 7,95 millimeters.
The customization of the ROM (presumably Android 4.2) remembers, from an iconic point of view and in the colors, remotely the MIUI of XIAOMI. But this is only an impression of the writer.
The Gionee X817 should mount a Mediatek MT6589T processor from 1.5Ghz, 1GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory, with a dual camera, 13 mega-pixel back and 5 front. The X817 will support two dual standby SIM (WCDMA + GSM) and will be powered by a 3200mAh battery. The display, as already mentioned, will be from 5.7 in HD (1280 x 720).
